These religious leaders need to be ...

The mufti of Perak was talking about the racial issues. The kongsi raya will erode the faith of his.

Now, as a religious leader, he is catering to boost the political issues or social issues.

Look at the social problem now in the country. All religious leaders should come to solve the problems.

I would like to challenge the muftis of all states to :

1. close the shops of Muslim owners who sell cigarattes

2. stop and fine the Muslim men and women smokers. This is a health issue and besides the second hand smoke too. The health expenses will go up too.

If the mukfis were strong on the Kongsi raya, do your part to save the souls of our Muslim brothers and sisters.

We can see many Muslims are smoking beside the state mosque in Ipoh. Did not he see it ?

The Star Online > Nation Wednesday August 2, 2006 Religious department nabs 15 youths MALACCA: Fifteen youths be- lieved to be involved in alcohol consumption, glue sniffing and free sex have been detained by the state Religious Department (Jaim) here. The 11 males and four females, aged between 15 and 20, were picked up in an unoccupied building near the Melaka Sentral bus terminal at 8.30am yesterday. Jaim enforcement chief Rahimin Bani said a team had rushed to the scene after receiving complaints from the public at about 8am yesterday. “On getting there, we found a few of them sleeping on boxes, while six were in a disgraceful state,” he told a press conference. The enforcement officers also found a few liquor bottles and glue containers. Rahimin added that four of the boys detained were still schooling. “We also found several textbooks and believe this could be a hiding place for truants,” he said. © 1995-2005 Star Publications (Malaysia) Bhd (Co No 10894-D)
