suspension or sack

That is why many said the government servant job is a bangko besi. Whatever one did bad, it is only transfer, why not suspend the teacher for a year to let him/her to think and change his/her thoughts as a Malaysian in the multicultural society.

In the private companies, he/she will be sacked, perhaps within 24 hours.

When will the servant become a towkay now ?

Racist teacher transferred outstation

GEORGE TOWN: The teacher who allegedly uttered racial slurs against a group of Indian students in Banting, Selangor, will be transferred out of the state next week, said Deputy Education Minister Dr Wee Ka Siong.

He said this was among the disciplinary measures decided following the completion of a domestic inquiry on the matter recently.

"The teacher, who is currently suspended from school and doing clerical work in the Selangor Education Department, has been undergoing two-week counselling.

"She has been reprimanded and given a stern warning. The teacher has promised that the incident will not recur," he told newsmen during a break at the MCA Youth 19th Central Committee meeting at Hotel Equatorial on Saturday.

Dr Wee said when the teacher was initially transferred to another school which happened to be near her home pending the inquiry, certain quarters deemed it as a promotion.

"This is not true. It was not a promotion. The shift was only a temporary one. We view the case very seriously. Although the parents of the students involved accepted the teacher's apology, the case had spread widely among the Indian community.

"A school is a place to instil racial harmony and mutual understanding. It shouldn't be used as a zone to quarrel. The ministry is constantly monitoring for such situations which will lead to misunderstandings and racial insensitivities," he added.

Two students from SMK Telok Panglima Garang had lodged police reports against the teacher, alleging that she had made derogatory remarks about Indian students and called them unflattering names on July 18.

On Aug 4, several angry parents and other members of the Indian community gathered outside the school to protest the teacher's alleged remarks.

I think we should give her a chance. She got family too although the stuff she did is evil but sacking her in the 1st offence would be too big!

hope she change!

As a teacher, she should know that she is building the country.Just as the police force or army, they are protecting the people. In Malaysia, who we can trust. The nation builder would hurt the innocent soul and the police and army would raped the innocents.

All people have family, before they join the government servant service, they have the handbook to read through and they can decide not to take up the post if they are not ready.

Malaysians are too kind, we can see many Chinese (false monks and nuns) asking for money in the streets. No action is taken.

It is time that Malaysians need to think what the kindness meant.
