Passing euthanasia law would meet much criticism from the stupid people, these people are mainly blindly following the so called religions. The religion heads talk about love but they do not want to help the suffering people to die peacefully via euthanasia. The are afraid of losing the number of members in their religion head count.
The law can be separated into two categories:
A : The rich
B: The poor
The rich ones afraid people to murder them thus they need to go through all kinds of procedures, like, lawyer confirmation, medical confirmation, close relative confirmation, patient confirmation.
The poor ones just need have : patient and close relative confirmation.Of course, medical confirmation is part and parcel. These poor people have nothing to worry about murder for wealth.
When the law is passed. It is not forcing everyone to go for euthanasia. It is up to the individual, patience first. The sick people do not have to travel very far to Europe etc to have euthanasia. Especially the poor people will not be able to travel to those countries. They have to suffer for another ten years or 20 years.
Therefore someone afraid the religion leaders may oppose it. Well, pass the law does not need to be enforced to everyone. It is a choice for those unable to travel far to seek peaceful ending of life.
