Engage the senior citizens for maintaining the swimming pool in Penang

If the Pakatan Harapan lead Penang state could build a half Olympic swimming pool in every DUN in Penang, the cost of maintaining would not be much.

Imagine, building a Olympic size swimming pool, the cost and the land area could be for two half Olympics size. In short, this would benefit the residents in two different locations.

There are 11 swimming pools in Penang state at the moment, mostly are privately own pools. Penang lang (people) are rich, they can pay or be the members of the club. According to the division of the DUN in Penang, now it needs to build 29 half Olympic swimming pool.

Does the state government have the bright and good talkers to convince the international brands or local companies to sponsor the project?

As this blog has lots of information about the benefits of swimming, example for the brain, reduce the depression etc here is to talk about the cost reduction for maintaining swimming pools.

The state government can involve the senior citizens to help out just as we suggested to maintain the parks and roads. Since the swimming is near their houses, they can just drop by according to the time table to wash the toilets and water the plants around the swimming pool.

The swimming pools would be using the vending machine for the ticketing, thus, only needs two life guards attending. Since the pool is not too deep, only 1.2 m, the chances of drowning is very low. Those with epilepsy should alert the life guard, of course. These videos below should tell you how the epilepsy patients can take care and need to inform the life guard. Of course, the parents should be well alert of the situation of the children. The adult patients should know when and how to avoid the situation.

Now, you can see how the social activities can make Penang state in the more advance state , especially helping Pakatan Harapan winning more seats in neighbouring states, Perak and Kedah.

This is not the political statement or support the Pakatan Harapan. We do not blindly support a government which could not do good for the people.
