The residents in Taman Pelangi, Juru, Seberang Perai can enjoy the best exercise, swimming easily with bus service.
If they could change their mentality on transport mode, not all the time complaining about the bus service, they could easily reach the Kompleks Sukan dan Rekreasi Jalan Betek in two sessions, which is currently operation mode. If the management from MBSP could change the operation hours, it would be much better.
Now, look at the time that bus no 707 of Rapid Penang from Taman Pelangi to Bukit Mertajam (BM), which passes the kompleks sukan where the swimming pool is housed.
Morning session begins at 8.00am. The bus from Taman Pelangi, Juru is :
9.30am from Juru to BM stop at the stadium
10.30am from BM to Taman Pelangi stop at Desa Wawasan bus stop.
Afternoon session begins at 4.00pm. The bus from Taman Pelangi to BM is :
3.30pm from Taman Pelangi stops at stadium bus stop to BM
6.30 pm from Taman Pelangi stops at Desa Wawasan to BM
7.30 pm from BM to Taman Pelangi. This might have to wait for a longer time.
However, if the management of swimming pool from MBSP could change the operaion hours as we have suggested like the Ipoh swimming pool :
8.am - 11 am
1pm -4 pm
5 pm -8 pm
Now you can see the residents of Taman Pelangi can comfortable using the morning session , afternoon session and evening session.
The residents of Taman Pelangi, do you want to tell the MBSP for a change of operating hours, which will suit many people in Seberang Perai. Of course, much hope is on building a half Olympic swimming pool in each constituency.
