This is the problem of education in Malaysia.
When the system produced the administrators who could not use how to think, the whole resources and talents are wasted.
This is partly that the Penang government must be shouldered too. The government should have built half Olympic size swimming in all constituencies and thus this sports school would have not reason to produce good international standard swimmers, divers, underwater hockey etc.
Secondly, the operating time table is undesirable for the school children and shift workers.
The nearest swimming pool in Seberang Perai is in Jalan Betek, Bukit Mertajam, you can google it and see the distance from the sports school to the swimming.
The school should have charted the school bus for bringing the pupils in the SMK Mutiara Impian to training and practising on a weekly basis.
There are people traveling from Nibong Tebal by bus to the swimming pool in Jalan Betek. The politicians, ADUNs do not know how to swim, thus they could not care more about promoting the best exercise, swimming.

Penang state has 11 swimming pools but produce less swimmers. The politicians are crazy about football, basket ball but not the swimming events which can bring in more gold medals
