Planting millets, Pakistan would not suffering water treaty

Were Pakistan representative in the United Nations in 2018 ?

Certainly, they were. Maybe they were sleeping like the representative of Malaysia, did not know the resolution of planting millets was adopted and passed.

In 2018, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) approved a proposal from India to observe an International Year of Millets, which was later adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, declaring 2023 as the International Year of Millets. This resolution was supported by over 70 nations. The International Year of Millets aims to raise awareness about the importance of millets for nutritional security and sustainable agricultural practices.

The neighbour of Pakistan, India proposed it and Pakistan did not know it.

The conflict is on and the water treaty is in the hand of India. If the Pakistan is wise enough, start planting millets now, the people won't go hungry as millets do not need much water. Listen to the PH D farm owner, he also did not know about the millets which have high nutrition values and require less water.

Are Malaysians aware of this ?

We are more interested to see how Malaysia politicians and the NGOs are going to change planting millets instead of rice, should NGOs do a petition to the minister of agriculture who is still sleeping in the internet age ?
