Once upon the time, when i was in school it was called Bahasa Melayu. Then the sensitive period came and it changed to Bahasa Malaysia. Everyone was happy that Malaysia has a common language. Later, there changed again in the cover of the textbook, BAHASA MELAYU.
Therefore, you can see how a Malaysian would have to face when s/he is faced with the simple question but yet s/he would not able to explain.
Is Bahasa Malaysia a newly created language like Esperanto or it is a cetak ropak language.
