It was a little shocked to read that Singapore would participate in this programme, afterall if you read the site and you should know that it is a company based in Singapore.

What is Volunteer Travel?
Voluntourism, volunteer tourism, volunteer holidays,
volunteer vacations … the many different names that people use to describe
Volunteer Travel.
Teaching English in schools for the poor in rural China,
looking after disabled children in Bangkok, Thailand, helping out in orphanages
in Cambodia or even volunteering in the heart of prosperous Singapore.
So, this is a part of good business, isn't it ?
