Can we trust PKR ?

From today's malaysiakini.com we can read this

Anwar vows to dismantle racial politics
Feb 26, 08 7:19pm
Opposition icon Anwar Ibrahim has vowed to end race-based discrimination policies in Malaysia, making it one of the major planks of his party's manifesto ahead of March 8 polls.

This is what most people wanted for a long time, but can we trust PKR ? When PKR is in power, by this time, it still has to share with other parties even the two third major is in their hands.

Abolished the New Economy Policy, yes, ceratinly if you are not the bumiputra in Malaysia, even if you are, and if you are in the lower social class, you still do not enjoy this policy.

Will the PAS agree on that ?

Judgding from the A dynasty in the 12th general election, can we ttrust Anwar, can we trust PKR ?

admitedly, I am wary of Anwar as well, especially how he just make himself dictator, i mean, defacto leader of his party

and proclaiming things like, his minions will make way for him after his ban is lifted... as if they are expendeble and live & die for him...

but anyhow

the situation in this country is so bad right now, that the other choice of Barisan Najis is definitely a no-no...

chinese a few years ago will never vote PAS (maybe Kelantan chinese will)...
but today it is different...

you put BN flag on a chinese, and a PAS flag on coconut tree, I will vote coconut tree!

hopefully all goes well for Barisan Rakyat.

so for now, let's give Anwar benefit of doubt

I as PKR supporter will not allow NEP to go away. So what should we do? I think Chegubard of OKR who is taking on the spoiled KJ answered it in Malaysiavotes:

http://malaysiavotes.com/wp/2008/02/26/chegubard-on-what-ails-malaysia/

PKR's message has been consistent on this: NEP must stay. But it should cover poor Chineese, Indians and so on because they are Malaysians too. NEP must stay, but should be opened up, so that people kno how it is administered and who is benifiting. That has been PKR's position from day one. I don't know why you should have second thoughts about it. Anyway, as "death note" (above) noted, the worst you can do now is to give PKR your benefit of doubt. Give them that benefit and you see how they respond, then later decide the response as well. However, if BN can do better, then you are free as well. We have our own likings and imaginations. But as a Malay, NEP must stay, only that it should include Chineese, Indians, etc so that we can build a complete nation.
