Well, we see this term of general elections have many women campagining for the less heard femiline voices. However, ther are also unheard voices too. These are none the sexuality curb groups--homosexuals.
In their websites, they do voice strongly about the country's progress. They pay the taxes, they do the prayers and they love the country too. However, they are not able to come out as what they are in the sexual preference like the West.
Many GLBT sites,locally, are refrain from discussing the politics especially pertaining to this term of general election. Most Chinese gay websites are shy away or even banned members not to discuss about it. However, the English and Malay sites are more vocal.
Next general election maybe, we can see the voices of these people but it is the best not to separate it by using the sexual orientation to cash in the vote. Gays and lesbians are the same as others too. They are the normal ones just as the disables.
I strongly believe that during the process of this elections, many gays and lesbians are helping out in many areas. They are not least recognised ???
