Malaysia is rich---US$1mil humanitarian aid for Palestine from M’sia

So, Malaysia is a rich country, look at the money that the poor country can throw to aid the war victims, but the rich Arab countries said nothing.

Tax payers' money again is being misused for the shake of the bloody thing that Malaysia is the OIC president. it is better to do away the President rather than paying the money.

Perhaps, those in the high rank people are like Chinese that have many business venture in the area and they need to save them.

Sick to read this report.

US$1mil humanitarian aid for Palestine from M’sia
By MAZWIN NIK ANIS
PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia is contributing US$1mil worth of relief supply to Palestine and will continue to extend humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
The Prime Minister said Wisma Putra has also re-opened its Fund for Palestine to receive and co-ordinate the collection of assistance from the public.
“The contribution from the government to the people of Palestine has been channeled through and will be used by Mercy Malaysia to deliver relief supplies.
“I am also writing to various world leaders to request them to use their good officers and personal influence to convince Israeli leaders to stop the bombardment of Gaza and agree to a ceasefire.
“Malaysia continue to hold the view that durable peace and stability for Gaza can only be secured through peaceful negotiations,” he said in a statement Monday.
Abdullah said Malaysia and its people was gravely concerned over Israel’s continuous bombardment of Gaza without any regard for human lives or the world community’s opinion.
He said Israel was meting out a systematic form of collective punishment upon Gaza with no consideration for innocent people or the destruction of properties.
“These actions are totally immoral and in clear violation of international law. They should be condemned by all people of conscience,” he said.
The Prime Minister added that the United Nations Security Council had a moral duty to stop the atrocities committed by Israel and demand a ceasefire by all sides, adding the council’s failure to do so would escalate the crisis, endanger Palestinian unity and threatened peace and security of the wider Middle East.
He said that any ground offensive into Gaza by Israel was an act of total war that the international community should not tolerate.
“I note that the UN security council continues to fail to act on this critical matter. I therefore urge that an emergency special session of the United Nations General Assembly be convened to adopt a “Uniting for Peace” resolution,” he said.
