Of late the issue of conversation in religion surface again. i am not going to dwell in this but rather like to share this response in Malaysiakini.com
Why people are not allowed to choose their relationship with God.
I think more of orang asli are facing the problem. For Banggarma has someone to voice her plight, but orang asli, who would speak on behalf.
If a religion is force to upon one and it would not be happy for life.
Why afraid losing the members of the faith in your religion?
At times, pity those who are borne in the family of those religions which do not allow conversation.

Religion is religion but the most important thing is your relationship with God..
You can write whatever religion on papers but if the heart feels otherwise, then
remember that it is between you and God. Man make laws of convenience for their
own selfishness gains. Conversion must come from the heart and not forced upon
just to meet with your statistical requirements
