KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Association of Foreign Maid Agencies (PAPA) has urged the Government to consider recruiting maids from Papua New Guinea, Myanmar and Timor Leste.
Its president Alwi Bavutty said this would ease the dependence on maids from Indonesia, Cambodia and the Philippines.
“We are submitting this proposal to the Human Resources Ministry due to high demand for maids,” he told Bernama on Monday.

Well, RM500 to work the whole day. Ok, not working but staying in the employer's house would not be at call 24 hours?
We want our kids to study and get to the Form 5 level and these employers are willing to pay only rm500.
Who would work for it that they have spend 12 years in school.

Doing house work is the longevity of life and it is proven but with few extra cents and no knowledge of technology,these people did not know the electric washing machine is available.
