Of late the issue of conversation in religion surface again. i am not going to dwell in this but rather like to share this response in Malaysiakini.com
Religion is religion but the most important thing is your relationship with God. You can write whatever religion on papers but if the heart feels otherwise, then remember that it is between you and God.
Man make laws of convenience for their own selfishness gains. Conversion must come from the heart and not forced upon just to meet with your statistical requirements.
But this report might be of good thinking as it is the current hot debate in the religion bodies.
The letter issued by the Malaysia Christian high authority is almost like the kettle is calling another kettle black.
Does the Christian marry a non Christian, the non Christian does not have to convert ?
Does it like the Buddism that you are free to walk in and free to walk out, everything is considered as fate (yuan fen 缘份)
The impart of Christian denouncing is not so great as the Christian authrority has not right to take legal action.
