If it is the tribal language, it is a tribal language. Can a tribal language become a new language just because it is in the use in the official status.

Chinese language is only called by the English speakers but not the Chinese themselve. Chinese language is the Han language 汉语， thus when you learn Chinese language, you also have to learn the pronuciation code which is called Hanyu Pinyin 汉语拼音。

China feel nothing about it. The official language is Han and the people is also Han and other tribes.

So make up your mind, which you want to call the language, change the name to Bahas Malaysia and sell out the tribe.
