This is not in Malaysia.
But just have fat hope on this. Malaysia would wait till the last train, only could see the importance of Esperanto despite the Esperanto Universal Association is appearing yearly in UNESCO.
But hope our neighbour, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos,Myanmar can speed up to let your people know about Esperanto.

The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will include Esperanto Language as a subject of study for Indonesian diplomats. It was stated by the Special Assistant to the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Pribadi Sutiono to RRI World Service Voice of Indonesia on the sidelines during Indonesia's first Esperanto Congress in Puncak, Bogor, West Java, on Saturday. He added, in 2013 the foreign affairs ministry is building a language center for young indonesian diplomats. According to Pribadi Sutiono, not many Indonesian people knew about Esperanto, despite the fact that Esperanto is an international language and has a long history in Indonesia since 1902.
Pribadi Sutiono said, "Esperanto Language is an old movement, a lot of people do not realize this. In the past, the ministry have also tried to raise Esperanto be one factor or the subject of learning for Indonesian young diplomats. However, back then, the Indonesian Esperanto Expert died so it was just fading away, now the foreign ministry is building a language center of diplomacy. Besides English they will learn 16 languages including languages of UN and ASEAN, and Esperanto Language. It will begin in 2013. Sutiono believes that Esperanto is a language that is important. Although Sutiono had no idea but he could understand the message being delivered, and that is the point when Zamenhof created the initial idea to create a non-political language and can be understood by all people”.
Esperanto is an artificial language created by Zamenhof, a Polish in 1887. Zamenhof’s main goal is to create a neutral language that is easy to learn and use as an intermediate language by many people who have various mother languages.///RB
