Certainly, I don't blame him as the Malaysian education system changed from English medium to Malay medium in the 70s, how his English can be excellent like his senior LIM Kiat Siang ?
I urge him to fight for the change of education act of Malaysia, make learning foreign languages an optional, not a compulsory. Besides mother tongue, national language, the foreign language should be a choice, learners can choose. Of course, making Esperanto as the compulsory will be the BEST CHOICE. It is cost saving and many other good benefits that come in.
