Madam Teo, Jawi is the alphabet of Arabic, it is not the Malays heritage.It is part and parcel of the religon text and when a tribe has no writing form, they can use it to do it as just what the current Malay language is using Latin alphabet .
If you want to make the altra extremists happy, do take away English language as the second language in Malaysia. Make the change in the act of education, no more second language but instead of using Foreign language. Pupils can choose the language they like.
Form the translation company or department and do all the translations from other languages into bahasa Melayu.
