Maszlee Malik, you are a nut

Thanks the heaven, that this sick man left the government.

Just wondering, he is still thinking he is the minster of education in Malaysia. How stupid he is to seek help for the private universities in Malaysia. Yes, his sons and daughters would be in private university in Malaysia.

How much these private universities have pocketed the profit and few even are owned by the listed companies.

Look at Taiwan. A small country and a small place but with more than 70 local universities, private and government. No foreign so called twining universities like in Malaysia.

Next time, get this silly man, who only has a unreal GOD in his head out of Malaysia political scene.

He is not looking on how to improve the local universities, build more universities in Malaysia, even like Germany, free education until PH D level.

Who can attend the private universities in Malaysia ? Those are the sons and daughters of the middle class.

Only the stupid Malaysian academicians are looking into the Time ranking, some should write to Deakin University in Australia and ask them why they do not participate in the Time university ranking.

In the next 15 years to come, employers are looking for students with working experiences. Who could do that, the students of distance learning programmes. USM had once ranked top in Asia for the distance learning programmes.

Not many comments in Kini but this one sounded nice.

Private unis management and shareholders are squeezing out profits regularly to line their pockets. Get rid of top heavy managements in unis. Most local private unis also can drastically reduce their fees and cut down on irrelevant courses - most of it is marketing spiel anyway. Reduce infrastructure expenditure. Many private unis are milking their students dry because of huge debts for their glam campuses. This is mismanagement and neither students nor the govt should be made responsible for such mismanagement. More funding necessary to improve public unis so that more Malaysians can have affordable options at this time. This is important for many families that are not able to educate their children. Be more pragmatic and take care of the education of the nation.
