Universal Basic Income in Brazil

 

 

Many Malaysians might not know this concept , Universal Basic Income (UBI).

There is a handful of Malaysians know about it as they are more well read and interested in the economy of the country.

There are a few countries are experimenting the concept but Brazil, which is not listed in Wikipedia as an experimenting country came out with this report, gradual path to UBI.

According to Wiliepdia Malay version, it said that Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) has proposed such a scheme for the pandemic period. But this is not the actual UBI as it is in a large scale, can be experimenting from a local, state thus to the whole nation.
