It would be having big argument if this would appear at the beginning of the fasting month or so called Ramadan.
There are many human intervention right from the highest authority, the JAKIM and state mosque people, like Penang, a RM1500 ringgit fine for the those do not fast, catch red handed for eating.
The nothing to do people would post all kinds of nasty comments with photos for those do not fast. They are sinner than the God. If a Muslim did not fast, it is the responsibility for him with God, if there were God.
DAP Penang silenced on the matter because the votes from Muslims in the state count. But they do not know the real problem lies in the future.
If there were God, the God should punish these human intervention to the people who needed to work. We fast 8 hours during the sleep, what is your feeling after 8 hours without food and water? You could not sense but only the fasting month could have the effect.
Love and care come from the feeling but not human intervention.
