Is Rohingya a race or tribe ?

 

These people happily be called new name, Rohingya.

What is the word, Rohingya mean.

 The Bangladesh word, Rohingya, muslim from Arakan. It is not a tribe, it is an identity, like you are from Kedah or Perlis. But these Rohngya happily accepted it and do not want their original forefather, Bangladesh.

 The word Rohingya would then mean "inhabitant of Rohang", which was the early Muslim name for Arakan.^{[88][89][90][91]}
