We have run our swimming articles sine 2021 but focussing more from the beginning of this year.

Not only the ADUNs in Penang state, the people of Penang are not aware of the good of swimming.
How many schools in Penang state have swimming clubs?
How many ADUNs in Penang know how to swim?
It boils down to the root cause because the MBSP and MPPP did not do a good job especially the MBSP, the staff responsible did not send out letters to all the schools around the pools to inform them for forming the swimming clubs.
It is very much the rich people work. The parents send the children for lessons and later join the private clubs for training for the competition. Even the sports school in Simpang Ampat is not using the swimming pool in Jalan Betek. Those intended to major in swimming course in sports school have to go to Johor state from Penang. Of course, they would represent the Johor state in the competition. Who is on the losing end now.
If there were a half Olympic size pool in Simpang Ampat, the sports school would have a good team to represent the Penang state in the ASEAN Games, Asia Games even in Olympics games.
Only the wise people would able to see the future.
