Did the Relau Sports Complex have open tender for managing the center?

Pakatan Harapan ruled state, Penang state has the modern sports complex.

It was completed in 2017 with the cost of 21.4 million ringgit. However, the good facility complex is now managed by private company just as similar to the half Olympic size swimming pool in Kampung Benggali.

Why the MBPP and MBSP cannot manage the sports facility?

Was it the system of crony which Pakatan Harapan was talking about? Isn't Pakatan Harapan dislike very much of crony system?

Now you see under the management of LIM Guan Eng, there was thing to consider calling MACC for investigation.

We could not find the open tender for the management of Relau Sports Complex. If you found one, please leave it in the comment section.

Even the private company could not manage well the swimming pool. There should have many state swimmers and divers for the SEA Games and SUKMA but we see nothing improving, only the few old names and soon they will be out of history.

Why the tax payers' money is not managed properly?

There are over 10,000 residents live nearby the Relau swimming pool but you could hardly see the crowd.

Swimming is the best exercise but the state government is not looking into it.

The contractor for the building of the complex was chosen through an open tender process, she added.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, who opened the ceremony, said the complex was in line with the state’s cleaner, greener, healthier and safer Penang vision.

“The complex’s design was developed by MBPP, which proves that the council has the expertise to develop its own public projects, which are of international standard.

“I hope the sports complex will be a platform for Penangites to lead a healthy lifestyle,” he said.
