Youth in Malaysia can vote at 18 years old.
In short, they can be the state assembly people or even member of the parliament.
Do they really know what and how a society, a country is made of? Even the politicians today also do not know how a good policy should be done.
It is high time to change the education curriculum in Malaysia. Many sociology graduates from the local universities teach History or Geography in the secondary schools.
Now it is the time for them to guide the young minds on how a society is built. How many kinds of social systems we have in the world and how these political systems work for the society.
Of course, with two years course, Tingkatan 4 dan 5, Sociology 101 can be finished to know five main areas of the society and country.
