If the PM X were a wise man, he would not have to waste time to invite enemies from the opposition.
Just abolish the pension scheme and using the EPF system. Once upon a time, Dr M was doing it but he backed out due to his greedy for power.
Look at the India new pension system, which India can save tons of money. It is similar to the EPF system but just only having another bank to manage the fund only.
As we have said it long ago to abolish the pension scheme to bring in more talents but the politicians are not reading it.

With the internet era rolling in for years, Malaysians are still not able to use the internet tool. Do we really need that many government servants?
Of course not, the silly politicians are still using the old way to fish the votes from the government servants as this portion has the highest voters but they may not vote you. Look at the result of kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang, were the government servants voted Pakatan Harapan?
PM X said about 5% of the government servants are lazy but he did not know that the lazy ones are normally the heads of the department hoping to cash in some form of financial allowance.
The investors send in the proposal before meeting them in person, the staff from the investors have liaison with the related government agency and it should be quick to respond to the applicants, the investors.
Do you think there would be changed in the future even they don't get the increment ?
Using the time to argue with the silly politicians, it would be better to spend time of planning for abolishing the pension scheme.
Soon, there come another argument before the 16th General Election. A wise leader would solve the problem once for all but not using it as a tool for fishing the votes.
