You failed the people. It would be best to leave the politics.
Using your the name of your late father would not make Democratic Action Party (DAP) a democracy party as you do not dare to stand up for the democracy fight.
Both your brother, Gobind has set a very bad example for Malaysia democracy process. If both of you could not up hold the democracy process in the party, what would you be expected to do for the nation.
Why DAP could not accept both of you to be the president? Is it the glare of your late father is too strong?
We do not want to dwell too long into the affair of DAP as we do not see the democracy process in a political party talking about democracy.
Do not tarnish the word of democracy, leave the politics and get into business and NGOs. Both you and Gobind as we are hoping to lead by example but failed.

Those DAP members should leave the political party in protesting the undemocratic process, just talking, you won't help much, action, just as the name of your party says.
As Anthony LOKE said, DAP is a central left political party, which means it is also similar to socialism. However, in the party level, it did not show the democratic way of action.
The Singh family members from Karpal should leave politics if both you were silent in DAP. There are many Singhs in Malaysia can take over your place in DAP.
DAP is creating the image of Chinese party in Malaysia has no surprised. Even having the non Chinese in the presidential post, the democracy way still cannot be seen too. Playing with puppets is nothing new in the politics.
Just leave the politics and have backbones. No time for the political party, which means no time for the people you are going to serve. Therefore, leave the party post and focus on money making and extra time for the NGOs.
Those DAP members, don't you feel your party is going away from the focus of democracy and heading to dictatorship ? Leave the party and be neutralised people to learn what democracy is.
